Department Established in 1995
Brief Profile of the Department      The IEHE library is a knowledge centre with rich collection of books mainly in social science, humanities and science subjects. It is a double storey building and has a carpet area of about 2276 sq.ft . It is situated in the midst of the institute. New library has been functioning from July 2006. An internet zone has been recently established to provide students on line access to learning resources. There are three well equipped study sections which can accommodate 125 readers at a time. The library has been divided into eight sections. 1)Reference section 2)Circulation Section 3)Reading Section 4)Processing Section 5)Maintenance Section 6)News Papers Section 7)Internet Zone 8)Old Books Section

1 ‘Best Library user award’ is given to students making optimum use of the library.
2 'Suggestion register’ is regularly maintained to record users views about library for further improvement.
3 ‘News paper clipping file’ of the IEHE is regularly maintained.
4 Display of answers books of paper wise highest scorers.
5 Evening Books Issue facility for hostellers.
6 Book Fairs are organized in the Library premises keeping in view students’ requirements.
7 Display of leaflets carrying information related to seminars new publications, Book fairs and various events of the other organizations
8 Display of new arrivals.
9 The library organizes Orientation programme for fresher's in order to generate interest in them for regular use of the library and to inform them about the rules and regulations of the library.
